Ladies, I want you to know I’ve been married to an Egyptian Man for over 7 years now. He came to me recently and said that I’m getting old now (35) and he (45) wants me to find him a young american girl around 20 years old to marry for wife #2. No joking here, he says he needs her for sex and the young girl is good for making children. Well, I think this is totally absurd or atleast for me. So therefore guess who is escaping Egypt without him….?????

Hey Girls, just thought I’d let you know that I have been married to an Egyptian man for 7 years. Blonde hair, blue eyes, slender, etc. Well I just turned 35 and now considered ‘old’. He is 45 and came to me and asked me to send him a young girl from America about 20 years of age. He says I’m to old for him now and needs the young girl for sex but still wants to be married to me. Guess who is leaving Egypt without him?????duh

Heidi: I just realised I did not reply to you. I do not know of any private investigators and indeed, do not think this is an area that exists in the same way as it does in the States, where there are a lot of them. I hope things work out.

Ely: The best plan would be to come over on holiday for a month (at least). Do not get married to him in that visit, just come over and see how life is here and how he is. It is very good that you are doing research into his religion – just remember that the being born Muslim does not mean he will do everything his religion prescribes, in the same way that someone born into Christianity doesn’t always “love his neighbour” etc.

Missouri Girl: Take a deep breath! Two months! If you’d been living in the same town and seeing each other everyday for two months, talking about getting married so quickly would be considered fast. If you’re destined to spend the rest of your lives together, there can’t be anything wrong with taking things more slowly. Allow yourself the chance to come to Egypt first to visit and see what life is like for him here, see what most Egyptians think of dogs here and get to know him a bit better. Then allow yourself time back in the States to think about all your experiences. If he loves you as much as you love him, then he’ll think that this is fair.

There are lots of budget hotels in Cairo, as well as more expensive ones, you have a lot of choice (you can find them all online) of where to stay. So, come check it out first hand!

I’ve been talking with an egyptian guy for 2 months now, and everything is going really well. We are talking about getting married and having a family together (i’m american). I’m planning to go to egypt with my small dog to be with him and we are going to get married and live over there for awhile with his family. Then we will be coming back to the states and be around my family.
I was wanting to see if anyone could give me some advice about moving to egypt and getting married to an egyptian man! Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy with him and we get along really well. I would just love to get some tips about living in egypt now and getting, so I hope that someone can help me. Thxs

Hello. I found by chance your comments.i am intersted because i like and (thought)i loved an egyption guy i found on the web 3 years ago.I wanted to go to Egypt and meet him.However, many egyption contacts tell me is not really a good idea to think of something serious with this boy.
I have no money, or be blonde, i am a 24 mexican girl, i am a in training English teacher,and i thought i was madly in love. i was making plans to go to egypt next summer, and meet my “boyfriend”.he says he would marry me with no hesitation if i were in egypt, that we could make a living, that his family would accept me, but most of my egyption contacts tell me the opposite. im doing a research about muslim religion and useful info i know i have to know first i decide to think of something serious like a marriage or so.

Well TG, thank you for your helpful clarifications. After almost 6 months we are still in communication. We met in person for the second time for a period of two weeks early this year. Now that I am regaining my rationality after being wooed and seduced by the best, would you be able to help me by providing the name and contact information for a good reputable private investigator in the Cairo area who has a rapport with westerners as well? i need to assess my friend’s background and reputation ( admittedly tardy) in deciding what direction to take in the future. Hi Heidi. It’s difficult to say not knowing anything else. I would suspect though, that there’s probably very little more going on other than the age-old cheating. A key reason for marrying a foreign women who comes (usually) from a higher economic income and educational background than the man is for strengthening the husband’s finances. Not always, but extremely often. In this case, he would be likely to put a fair amount of attention into his wife. If he is in this category and is in romantic contact with you, it is likely that he is looking for the ‘thrill of the chase’ or something outside his marriage, in a fairly standard way.

If he is of the same/or higher (and you have concrete proof) educational and financial level than you, then it sounds fairly definitely that he wants fun outside his marriage.

However, it is also possible that he has said he has an American wife, just to make you feel more comfortable talking to him, particularly in the first instance. You haven’t said much, so I don’t know how things began, but it’s not an unheard of technique. This would mean that he’s not married, however, perhaps not the best person to trust.

I hope this doesn’t sound too callous. Take care of yourself. Chances are, you deserve better than someone who is cheating, even if he’s admitted it.
